Riddlebreak is an alternative/progressive metal band based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Stylistically, their music meshes hook-laden choruses with progressive, post rock and metal elements. Drawing inspiration both from 90s alternative and contemporary artists alike, Riddlebreak has taken on the somewhat audacious task of creating their own genre by way of a alternative/metal hybrid. Their music speaks out against injustice and questions the status quo while still keeping the curiosity and playfulness that is Riddlebreak. Traversing the sonic sphere from the melodic to the dissonant, Riddlebreak is difficult to pigeonhole and impossible to ignore!
