One doesn’t always know what you get yourself into when you say yes to do a review on a
genre of music you do not listen to everyday, at least not anymore. However, when the new
single of Color Blew, DANCE DANCE DANCE started playing I was instantly transported to a
few years back, when I just discovered the “bar” scene and live bands playing.
I do not claim to be an expert on the exact musicality side of things, I write mostly about which
emotions music conveys in me, with that being said, the intro to this song immediately puts a
smile to my face. The relaxing, yet light guitars with the grungy, raspy vocals, building up to the
chorus, is really beautifully done and I imagine a beach bar where everyone is just chilling
outside listening to The Color Blew play live.
With the vocals reaching its peak in the end, one just wants to swing your head from side to side
and forget about your troubles. This song takes you to better, happier times. So, if you are
feeling a little blue “excuse the pun”, then do not miss out on this new track DANCE DANCE
DANCE
