Alright, kids! Get your denims and leathers out because it is time to stand up for all things that are glorious about metal. Deadline’s new single, and lyric video, ahead of their album launch (stay tuned for a review of that coming soon) will get your hearts racing and souls pumping. With all of its throwback thrashy goodness, this killer track has all of the modern flavours to entice old school grandads and young metalcore tweens alike.

It really feels like the lads have spent themselves on achieving the tones and nuances of classic records. The production, for lack of a better word, is astounding and should drive your ears to the brink of explosion. There are not many bands left that truly embrace the heart and soul of yesterday years wave of heavy metal, but Deadline are clearly spearheading the genre and flying the South African flag high.

Rating: 10/10
